Digital Dawn: Jharkhand's Census 2027 Kicks Off with Self-Enumeration
Jharkhand's Census 2027 has begun, featuring a digital self-enumeration phase allowing residents to provide household information online. The initial phase of Census 2027 commenced in Jharkhand on Friday, marked by a self-enumeration exercise that enables residents to submit household data online, officials revealed.
Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar appealed to the public to engage actively and provide precise data, underscoring the significance of accurate information in policy development. "I encourage citizens to ensure their active involvement in the self-enumeration process initiated on May 1, hoping for the success of Census 2027 in the state," he proclaimed.
Prabhat Kumar, Director of the State Directorate of Census Operations, noted that the self-enumeration will proceed until May 15, with individuals urged to use the official portal se.census.gov.in for submission. Following this, from May 16 to June 14, field operations will gather comprehensive data from residences across Jharkhand.
