Tragic Lightning Strike Claims Lives of Two Girls
Two young girls lost their lives and a boy was injured after being struck by lightning while collecting mangoes in Chauna village. The incident occurred during a storm. Archana and Astha died instantly, while Harsh sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment. Authorities have sent the bodies for post-mortem examinations.

In a tragic incident, two young girls were killed and a boy was injured after a sudden lightning strike while they gathered mangoes in Chauna village. The incident unfolded during a storm on Saturday evening.
According to Station House Officer Dinnu Prasad Yadav, Archana, aged nine, and Astha, aged eight, died instantly when the lightning struck them under a tree. The storm had knocked down mangoes, attracting the children to the scene.
Harsh, a 12-year-old boy, was injured as he stood nearby. He is currently receiving treatment at the Babhani community health centre. The deceased's bodies have been sent for post-mortem, informed SHO Yadav.
