At a press conference following his cabinet meeting, Sarma stated the Supreme Court's involvement ensured Khera appeared before the Crime Branch. The Chief Minister emphasized that the allegations presented were counterfeit.
Khera, responding to a police summons, participated in the ongoing investigation and affirmed respect for legal protocols. The intricate allegations include election-related misconduct, forgery, and defamation.
