Kerala's leader has strongly condemned the recent attack on Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials following their search operations at the rented residence of Pinarayi Vijayan. The incident, which involved damage to vehicles and obstruction of investigators, was labeled a serious crime.
During a press meet, it was emphasized that such actions against law enforcement are unacceptable. Addressing the ongoing case, it was noted that the ED's searches were part of a probe into alleged financial dealings involving a mining company's transactions with the Chief Minister's family. The searches spanned 10 locations in Kerala.
Questions were raised regarding the state government's non-involvement, as officials were not informed prior to the ED's action. The Congress-led UDF had previously expressed concerns about the aged investigation and its lack of progress before the current administration.
