Global Election Interference Scandal: BlackCore's Digital Meddling Uncovered

An Israeli company named BlackCore is implicated in election meddling across France, New York City, and Scotland. The allegations, made by Viginum, France's disinformation detection service, suggest that BlackCore engaged in a smear campaign during France's local elections, particularly targeting candidates from the France Unbowed party.

Further investigations expose similar activities in New York, Scotland, Angola, and Togo. However, Viginum's chief, Marc-Antoine Brillant, revealed that they have yet to identify the entity that commissioned these suspicious activities. Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu indicated that the French government had approached Israel for insight into BlackCore’s actions.

Reports suggest that BlackCore’s digital interference extends beyond France, raising concerns about electoral integrity worldwide. Meanwhile, officials in New York, Scotland, Angola, and Togo have remained silent regarding these allegations. BlackCore, which marketed itself as an advanced cyber and information warfare company, has also declined to comment.
