P V Midhun Reddy (YSRCP) demanded that the government fulfil its promise of giving special category status to Andhra Pradesh, which is reeling under high debt following bifurcation. Reddy said the government should act on all the promises it had made at the time of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Vinayak Raut (Shiv Sena) said the NDA government should take steps for constructing Ram Temple at Ayodhya, stressing that it was because of the blessings of Ram Lalla that BJP has come to power again. Rajiv Ranjan Singh (JDU) said the government should focus on fundamental issues rather than controversial subjects like Triple Talaq.

He also said that the government should fulfil the regional aspirations of people, especially in Bihar. Pinaki Mishra (BJD) said that Centre should consider giving more aid to Odisha which has to repeatedly face cyclones that caused immense damage.

He also suggested the Government raise the retirement age of High Court judges saying it would help in strengthening the judiciary. NCP's Amol Kolhe said the President's address lacked real reflection of India while raising the issues of farmer suicides in Maharashtra.

Echoing similar sentiments, IUML's MP PK Kunhalikutty said the government is only good in marketing but actually it did nothing. Modi government has achieved nothing in last five years, he said. CPI(M) MP AM Ariff opposed BJP's proposal for one nation, one election, saying it is anti-federal and anti-democratic. He described it as a "crooked idea".

Countering opposition's attack, BJP's MP Kirit Solanki said in this general elections it was Modi's tsunami, and people from all sections of society supported him and his development-oriented policies for the country. BJP's Ganesh Singh and Ram Kripal Yadav also participated in the debate.
