The BJP has clinched a decisive victory in Arunachal Pradesh, marking their third consecutive term in power. According to Election Commission officials, the party secured a majority by winning 33 out of the 60 seats in the state assembly.
Election results are still being tallied for the 50 seats contested on April 19, while the BJP secured 10 seats without opposition.
Among the 50 contested seats, the saffron party has won 23 and is leading in an additional 12 seats, further solidifying their stronghold in the northeastern state.
