As vote counting trends signal a shift, the INDIA bloc, led by the opposition, is likely to form the next government. Congress Rajasthan president Govind Singh Dotasra confidently claimed this on Tuesday, emphasizing that there is no possibility of Narendra Modi being re-elected as Prime Minister.
The NDA, helmed by the BJP, is currently leading with 296 seats while the INDIA bloc trails not far behind with 227 seats as the Lok Sabha election votes are being tallied. Dotasra attributed this shift to the electorate's blessings and expressed that people have decisively turned towards the opposition.
Commenting further on the state's vote trends, particularly in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, Dotasra critiqued the BJP as a ‘party of liars’ that relies solely on slogans. He stressed that the populous has seen through these tactics and made up its mind for change.
