Following Modi's election, prominent alliance members such as TDP's N Chandrababu Naidu and JD(U)'s Nitish Kumar are set to meet President Droupadi Murmu, presenting the list of parliamentarians backing Modi. Sources suggest the swearing-in ceremony could occur over the weekend, possibly on Sunday. The NDA, with 293 MPs, has a comfortable majority in the 543-member Lok Sabha.

BJP leaders, including Union ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, convened on Thursday to discuss government formation efforts at BJP president J P Nadda's residence. This meeting is seen as an outreach effort to allies concerning their share in ministerial positions and selecting probables from their ranks for the coalition government.
