Condemnation Arises After Danish Prime Minister Assaulted

Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi expressed strong condemnation over the recent attack on Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, who sustained minor whiplash after being assaulted in central Copenhagen.
Frederiksen was quickly taken to a hospital for treatment, according to reports from Copenhagen.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen described the assault as a 'despicable act,' stating, 'I condemn this despicable act which goes against everything we believe and fight for in Europe.'
