Kapil Sibal Urges PM Modi to Heed RSS Chief Bhagwat's Concerns

Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal delivered sharp criticism towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, referencing remarks by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat about the ongoing conflict in Manipur. Sibal asserted that it is 'not in the DNA' of Modi to heed opposition advice but insisted that the PM should listen to Bhagwat’s concerns.

Emphasizing the importance of addressing the conflict in Manipur, Sibal expressed hope that the new NDA government would not repeat the mistakes of the past decade under BJP rule. He commended Bhagwat’s statement and called for a collective effort to move the country forward.

Sibal also addressed issues arising from the BJP's approach to governance, notably questioning the lack of elections in Jammu and Kashmir post-Article 370 abrogation and highlighting the need for the opposition's voice to be heard in parliamentary proceedings for the nation’s advancement.
