Thackeray Challenges Modi: Will PM Visit Manipur Amid Turmoil?

Uddhav Thackeray, chief of Shiv Sena (UBT), has openly questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plans to visit Manipur after critical remarks made by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat regarding the ongoing turmoil in the north-eastern state.

At a press conference, the former Maharashtra chief minister also scrutinized the impact of the Article 370 abrogation, wondering aloud if it brought any real change on the ground in Jammu and Kashmir.

Thackeray linked Modi's potential third term as prime minister to his ability to handle the escalating violence in Manipur and Jammu and Kashmir, following incidents of terrorism and communal strife that have claimed numerous lives.
