BJP Criticizes INDIA Bloc and DMK Over Tamil Nadu Hooch Tragedy

The BJP expressed hope that opposition leaders, who have yet to speak on the issue, will show repentance by gathering near the Mahatma Gandhi statue in the Parliament complex to observe silence for the victims.

Sitharaman demanded that the case be transferred to the CBI for a thorough investigation, while accusing the ruling DMK of supporting spurious liquor sellers in the state. She criticized the Tamil Nadu government's handling of the situation, calling it a demonstration of total incompetence.
