Former BJP MLA Sudhakar Bhalerao Joins NCP (SP)

Sudhakar Bhalerao, former BJP MLA from Udgir, officially joined the Nationalist Congress Party's Sharad Pawar faction. Bhalerao resigned from BJP and attended the induction ceremony at YB Chavan Centre, Mumbai, with key NCP (SP) leaders present. Bhalerao had won the 2009 and 2014 assembly polls but was replaced in 2019.

On Thursday, former BJP MLA Sudhakar Bhalerao officially joined the Nationalist Congress Party's Sharad Pawar faction. Bhalerao, who previously represented Udgir in Latur, resigned from BJP and attended an induction ceremony at the YB Chavan Centre in Mumbai.

The event saw the attendance of notable NCP (SP) leaders, including Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule, and Jayant Patil. Bhalerao had a successful run in the 2009 and 2014 assembly polls but was replaced by Anil Kamble in 2019. Kamble later lost to Sanjay Bansode, currently part of the Ajit Pawar faction and serving as the state sports minister.
