Gadkari Emphasizes BJP's Unique Path Amidst Political Challenges

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari underlined the BJP's distinctive path compared to Congress, urging party members to avoid past mistakes to maintain voter trust. During a Goa BJP executive meeting, he stressed the importance of corruption-free governance, abstaining from caste-based politics, and strengthening the party for future elections.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday reiterated the BJP's unique approach, attributing its repeated electoral success to this distinction compared to Congress. However, he cautioned party members against replicating the errors that led to Congress's downfall.

Speaking at a BJP executive meeting in Goa, Gadkari emphasized, “If we continue doing what the Congress used to do, then there is no use of their exit and our entry.” His remarks come after the BJP's inability to secure a majority in the recent Lok Sabha polls.

During his address, Gadkari recalled his mentor and former Deputy PM L K Advani's statement that the BJP is a “party with a difference.” He urged party cadres to understand this difference and highlighted the need for a corruption-free governance model and social and economic reforms. Gadkari also warned against caste-based politics in Maharashtra, advocating for value-based recognition instead. He encouraged Goa BJP members to strengthen the organization ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.
