Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Declares BJP-led Alliance as the Country's Future

Speaking in the legislative assembly, Shinde criticized the Congress for celebrating recent election losses and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s developmental agenda for the state.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday declared that the BJP-led NDA alliance at the Centre and the ruling Mahayuti coalition in Maharashtra represent the future of both the country and the state. Criticizing the Congress, Shinde noted their celebration of losses in the recent Lok Sabha polls, while highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's continued governance.
Speaking on the last day of the monsoon session in the legislative assembly, Shinde pointed out that despite the opposition's joint efforts under the INDIA bloc, Modi secured another term. The CM praised Modi for his unwavering support for Maharashtra's development, ensuring that no development funds were cut.
Referencing his 2022 political shift and leadership, Shinde contrasted his administration's hands-on approach with that of his predecessor Uddhav Thackeray. Shinde stressed that his government has made decisions for the people's welfare and countered criticism through action, reaffirming that Congress is now a part of history.
