BJP’s Kamlesh Shah emerged victorious in the Amarwara (ST) seat, winning by over 3,200 votes after initially trailing in multiple rounds.
Shah defeated Congress rival Dheeran Shah Invati by 3,252 votes, securing 83,036 votes against Invati’s 79,784, according to poll officials.

This assembly by-election was called after Shah, a three-term Congress MLA, joined the BJP in March this year. The BJP subsequently nominated him as their candidate in the bypoll.
