PM Modi's Zero-Tolerance Stance on Terrorism: Rai's Stern Warning

Union Minister Nityanand Rai declared that India now operates under a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism under PM Modi. His statement followed the killing of three terrorists by the Indian Army at the LoC and reflects ongoing efforts to counter terror threats amid rising attacks in Jammu Kashmir.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, asserted on Sunday that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India is adopting a zero-tolerance stance towards terrorism. He warned terrorists that they face dire consequences, either being buried seven feet underground or imprisoned in India.

Rai's remarks follow the Indian Army's elimination of three terrorists during an anti-infiltration operation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara. This operation comes amid a surge in terror activities in the Jammu division.

Recent incidents include the deadly ambush on July 8 in Kathua, where five Indian Army soldiers from Uttarakhand lost their lives. The ambush is part of a series of attacks attributed to Pakistani efforts to destabilize Jammu and Kashmir. Since June 9, multiple terror strikes have resulted in numerous casualties among civilians and security personnel.
