Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Friday launched Delhi BJP's 'Jhuggi Vistarak' campaign for the upcoming assembly polls, critiquing the Kejriwal government for the poor living conditions in the city's slum clusters.

The party has appointed experienced leaders to work in these areas with a focused approach, addressing issues directly affecting slum dwellers.

Mandaviya advised campaign workers to spend substantial time in slum areas to understand the residents' problems better. Criticizing Kejriwal's governance, he emphasized that the Central government is committed to 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'.

Mandaviya stated the BJP believes in integral humanism and that party volunteers must embody this philosophy. Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva shared the party's ambition to form a 'double-engine' government at both the Centre and in Delhi to uplift the national capital.

Sachdeva highlighted that many slums across nearly 30 assembly constituencies still lack basic amenities. The BJP is striving to address these deficiencies, with notable leaders attending the campaign's launch event.

The BJP has been working to garner support from slum dwellers, traditionally AAP voters, and aims to replicate its Lok Sabha election success in upcoming local elections.
