Speaking to reporters, the 40-year-old Dewas MP detailed that the call came around 11.40 am while he was in his study at Tilak Nagar. The caller not only abused him but also threatened his life when Solanki asked for his identity. Superintendent of Police Sampat Upadhyay stated, ''An FIR has been lodged at the Civil Lines police station. The unidentified caller faces charges under sections 351 (4) and 296 of BNS.
