The Mumbai unit will be represented by city unit chief and Lok Sabha MP Varsha Gaikwad, former city unit chief Bhai Jagtap, and MLA Aslam Shaikh. Notably, the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition secured 31 of the 48 Lok Sabha seats in the state during the last elections, with the state's lone Independent MP, Vishal Patil from Sangli, being an associate member of the Congress.
