Mayawati Criticizes BJP Over Internal Fights Ahead of UP Assembly Session

Mayawati, President of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), has taken aim at the ruling BJP, highlighting the need for the party to curb internal conflicts ahead of the UP Assembly's monsoon session.
In her social media post on X, Mayawati urged that the upcoming brief session focuses on the needs of the people. She stressed that issues like aiding flood-affected families and addressing poverty, unemployment, inflation, and law and order must take precedence over internal discord.
Additionally, she criticized the government's approach to dealing with encroachments, advocating for a shift towards improving the lives of the impoverished population. The UP Assembly session is scheduled from July 29 to August 2, according to Principal Secretary Pradeep Kumar Dubey.
