BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi has sharply criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi for what he described as gross negligence in regulating coaching institutes and managing sewerage systems. According to Trivedi, this alleged negligence led to the tragic deaths of three students at a coaching centre in Old Rajinder Nagar, Delhi.

Speaking in the Upper House on Monday, Trivedi lambasted the Delhi government for failing to seriously regulate the coaching institutes, calling the incident 'very unfortunate.' He expressed his dismay that those responsible for the tragedy did not show any visible signs of emotional distress or concern. Trivedi also pointed out that this was not an isolated incident; students had filed complaints and sent reminders to authorities, the latest being on July 26, which were ignored.

In a scathing attack, Trivedi accused the AAP government of criminal negligence, arguing that their promise of 'new politics' has proven dangerous and jeopardized people's lives. 'Which department gave permission to work in the basement? Was there any inspection? What action was taken on complaints? Were neighboring sewerage systems cleaned?' Trivedi questioned, demanding accountability from the government.
