Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has shown a readiness to engage in dialogue with the powerful military. This comes as he faces a myriad of legal challenges, with numerous cases filed against him, his wife, and senior party leaders.
In a conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Khan, who is currently 71 years old, reiterated his stance on offering constructive criticism rather than accusations towards the establishment. He likened the military to a spoiled child needing critique for growth, a sentiment reflecting democratic principles.
Khan's comments come amid a turbulent period marked by his wife's involvement in 11 cases and efforts to secure bail in 12 cases linked to the May 9 riots. The former PM remains defiant, arguing that the charges are politically motivated and aimed at retaliating against him.
