Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Jayant Chaudhary refuted opposition claims on Thursday that the BJP government intends to change the Constitution, calling it the 'guiding spirit' that remains immutable.
In a media interaction at the Indira Gandhi Pratisthan, Chaudhary emphasized that all governmental actions are in strict accordance with the Constitution, countering allegations from the Congress-led INDIA bloc.
Regarding the upcoming by-elections for 10 Assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, Chaudhary asserted his party's readiness to contest with full force, and noted that alliance strategies will dictate seat demands once election dates are announced.
