The BJP on Saturday voiced strong criticism of Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of failing to honor his party's election promises in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh. The party stated that Gandhi had become synonymous with deception and lies in politics.
In a press conference at the BJP headquarters, national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia argued that the Congress government in Karnataka had fulfilled only two out of 59 election promises. Bhatia asserted that people in both Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh feel betrayed by Congress.
Moreover, Bhatia highlighted the issue of farmers' suicides in Karnataka, accusing Gandhi of neglecting the matter despite meeting farmers in Delhi. He also pointed to corruption allegations against Karnataka's chief minister, claiming that priorities were skewed towards political gains rather than addressing state concerns.
