Massive Protests Erupt Across Karnataka Against Governor's Nod for Siddaramaiah Prosecution

Congress workers and supporters staged protests on Saturday in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mandya, and other regions of Karnataka against Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot's permission to prosecute Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the MUDA alternative site 'scam'.
In Bengaluru, a significant demonstration was organized at Gandhi Nagar by Congress workers and members of the Karnataka Pradesh Kurubara Sangha, demanding the Governor's removal.
Protesters raised anti-Gehlot slogans, burned effigies of the Governor, and carried placards reading 'Remove Governor, Save State'. Similar protests in support of Siddaramaiah were held in Mandya, Davanagere, and Mysuru, with participants alleging a conspiracy against the AHINDA leader and setting tyres on fire as a mark of protest.
