Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated, has once again pointed the finger at the military and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) for his dire situation, expressing fears for his life.
Khan, aged 71 and detained at Adiala Jail, accused the current administration of suppressing criticism, deteriorating law and order, and contributing to Pakistan's cricket woes. In a recent statement on X, he reiterated claims of election rigging, stressing that only a government with a legitimate mandate can institute fundamental reforms.
"The ISI oversees all administrative matters concerning my imprisonment. Should anything happen to me, the Army Chief and DG ISI will be accountable," Khan stated in a detailed post. This comes just days after the government hinted that Khan might face military courts for trials related to last year's violent unrest.
