Union Home Minister Amit Shah continued his offensive against the Congress during an election rally in poll-bound Haryana, accusing Rahul Gandhi's election guarantees of failing in states where the Congress is in power, such as Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka.
Addressing a gathering in Gurugram's Badshahpur, Shah criticized the Congress for making lofty promises that remain unfulfilled, contrasting this with the BJP's track record of delivering on its commitments. Specifically, he pointed out that only a 'double-engine' government led by the BJP can ensure Haryana's development.
Highlighting the Modi government's achievements, Shah cited the implementation of One Rank One Pension and the introduction of the Agniveer scheme to rejuvenate the armed forces. He also reassured the audience that BJP government would create 5 lakh jobs in the next five years purely on merit.
