BJP Celebrates Haryana Victory: Jalebi Sweetens the Win

BJP leaders praised their victory in the Haryana assembly polls while mocking Rahul Gandhi for his earlier comments on jalebis. Despite Gandhi's criticisms, the BJP secured a third consecutive win, highlighting development and good governance over Congress's promises.

BJP leaders and ministers in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday celebrated the party's victory in the Haryana assembly polls, simultaneously seizing the opportunity to criticize Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. They remarked that today he must find even 'jalebis' bitter.

Earlier, Gandhi had showcased a box of jalebis at a rally to emphasize promoting traditional sweets nationwide, as a dig at BJP's economic policies. He argued that selling and exporting jalebis could generate employment, challenging BJP's business strategies.

However, the BJP successfully clinched a third term in Haryana, overcoming anti-incumbency, which senior leaders consider a triumph of their development-oriented governance over Congress's alleged empty promises.
