Congress Slams BJP Government Over Financial Mismanagement

Sanjay Awasthi, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, has accused the former BJP administration of financial mismanagement. Speaking on Monday, Awasthi alleged crores were squandered on investors' meetings and events, leaving state employees with unpaid salaries.

The Congress MLA from Arki highlighted promises made by the Finance Commission, including Rs 1,000 crore for the Mandi airport, which remains unfulfilled. Emphasizing the BJP's failed financial stewardship, Awasthi claimed it resulted in a Rs 1,420 crore loss for the state.

As opposition leaders scramble for relevant issues, Awasthi contends that the state's populace recognizes BJP's political maneuvering and continues to support the Congress government.
