Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on the Congress party, accusing them of mirroring Pakistan's stance by seeking the return of Article 370, which previously granted special status to Jammu & Kashmir.
At a Pune election rally, Modi reiterated his slogan advocating unity and blasted the Congress for trying to sow division among Dalits, tribals, and OBCs. He pointedly avoided mentioning NCP leader Sharad Pawar, another figure from the opposition.
Modi showcased BJP's accomplishments in Maharashtra and accused the Congress of corruption and broken promises in other states, setting the stage for the upcoming elections on November 20.
