The party claims that the current administration has failed to address critical public issues, including shortages of water, electricity, and jobs, as well as lagging behind in tourism and key development projects.
The BJP expressed optimism about its increasing popularity and development initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir, suggesting that it is poised to emerge stronger in the 2025 elections. Sunil Sethi, the chief spokesperson of the party's Jammu and Kashmir unit, criticized the National Conference for neglecting public issues in recent months and relying on excuses instead of solutions.
Sethi emphasized the BJP's commitment to its election manifesto, stating the promises were based on well-considered financial and developmental plans. He accused the current government of lacking leadership and warned of similar failures in states like Delhi and Punjab. Furthermore, Sethi highlighted the BJP's development projects, such as the Katra-Delhi road and railway expansions, aimed at boosting the region's tourism and trade, alongside efforts for youth and women empowerment.
