At the Munich Security Conference, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock issued a stark warning against settling for a 'sham peace' in Ukraine. She indicated that doing so could embolden further Russian aggression and undermine European security.
Baerbock's remarks came during a meeting with U.S. Vice President JD Vance, where she highlighted her concerns about strategic stability in the region.
Furthermore, Baerbock criticized the notion of welcoming Russia back to the Group of Seven (G7) nations, countering U.S. President Donald Trump’s apparent openness to such a move. She underscored a firm stance of no cooperation with President Vladimir Putin's administration.
