Russian President Vladimir Putin's foreign policy adviser announced on Tuesday that the talks between Russia and the United States held in Saudi Arabia were successful in moving forward with diplomatic discussions.

Despite the progress made, Putin's adviser Yuri Ushakov indicated that a meeting between the two leaders is not expected to happen next week, and no specific date has been set yet.
