Challenges to Pathak's election from the Rajinder Nagar constituency included alleged non-disclosure of criminal backgrounds and financial misrepresentations. However, the Supreme Court ruled that these disputes should not hinder his future candidacies, facilitating a crucial victory for Pathak amid a political storm.
