In anticipation of the upcoming Bihar elections, Nishant Kumar, son of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has made a fervent appeal to the state's citizens to support his father by highlighting the developmental projects accomplished in recent years. Nishant emphasized the necessity of winning more seats to maintain the momentum of growth in Bihar.

Encouraging the Janata Dal (United) workers, Nishant Kumar urged them to communicate the chief minister's policies and achievements over the past 19 years to the electorate. He also pressed for the NDA to declare Nitish Kumar as the chief ministerial candidate for the elections, advocating for the continuation of governance under his leadership.

Amidst the political rallies, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Bhagalpur, inaugurated the 19th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. This initiative promises financial assistance to millions of farmers without middlemen, highlighting the government's focus on agricultural welfare.

However, contrasting opinions emerged as RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized both the BJP and Nitish Kumar's longstanding governance. He pointed out Bihar's poor rankings in per capita income and investment, expressing concerns about pressing issues like unemployment and poverty despite the so-called 'double-engine government' over two decades.

As Bihar approaches its legislative assembly election, the political landscape is heating up with promises, critiques, and expectations from citizens for progressive changes while leaders vie for electoral dominance.
