Senior Congress leader Raghuvir Singh Kadian has raised concerns over the escalating drug menace in Haryana, urging the state government to take decisive action to combat the issue. Kadian highlighted the proliferation of drugs during a discussion in the Haryana Assembly, calling for immediate measures.

Addressing the governor's address, Kadian also pointed out the shortage of teachers and doctors in schools and hospitals, questioning the state's plans to address these shortcomings. His remarks prompted a response from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members, who accused him of straying from the main discussion.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini assured that the government is actively working to eradicate drugs, with regional committees and joint operations in place to manage the situation. Efforts are being intensified to curb cross-border drug movement and implement strict enforcement measures.
