A BJP leader in Uttar Pradesh's district tragically lost his life after falling victim to a deadly attack. Three unidentified assailants allegedly injected him with a poisonous substance, police authorities reported.

Circle Officer Deepak Tiwari stated that Gulfam Singh Yadav, aged 60, was at his farm in Daftara village, under the jurisdiction of Junawai police station, on Monday evening when the attack occurred. The assailants, who fled on a motorcycle, administered the fatal injection before escaping the scene. Yadav was transported towards Aligarh for urgent medical attention but sadly passed away en route.

Yadav was affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and had previously run in an assembly bypoll under their ticket. Although no formal complaint has been filed by the victim's family, a police investigation is actively in progress.
