Ukraine Gains Support for Sanctions Against Russia

Ukraine has received positive indications from its European allies regarding imminent U.S. pressure on Russia, as revealed by a high-ranking Ukrainian official. This development follows President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's discussions with leaders from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy.

According to Andriy Yermak, these allies have confirmed that the White House plans to take strong actions against Russia, particularly focusing on sanctions targeting Russian oil. These sanctions are expected to follow the expiration of a 10-day deadline previously set by President Donald Trump.

Additionally, Yermak mentioned that discussions are underway for a potentially historic security agreement between Kyiv and Washington, which would also have financial backing from European partners.
