This follows Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's call to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to validate his voter list irregularity claims within a week or face losing credibility.
Addressing a public gathering, Singh underscored the necessity of fair elections for a functional democracy, citing alleged voter registration frauds in several states.
