Accusations Fly as CPI(M) Office Vandalized in West Tripura

In a dramatic escalation of political tension in West Tripura, the CPI(M) has accused BJP-backed individuals of vandalizing its party office with a bulldozer. The incident occurred in the Pratapgarh area, with the CPI(M) presenting video evidence to support their claims.

Jitendra Chaudhury, Leader of the Opposition and CPI(M) state secretary, condemned the alleged attack, labeling it a 'cowardly act' carried out under the cover of night. He criticized the BJP for undermining democratic values and looting public funds.

Despite receiving a complaint, local police have yet to advance their investigation, although they have seized the bulldozer used in the attack. Meanwhile, BJP district president Ashim Bhattacharjee has refrained from commenting on the matter.
