In an escalating exchange, Russian President Vladimir Putin has cautioned the United States against supplying long-range missiles to Ukraine, labeling such a move as damaging to Moscow-Washington relations without altering the battlefield dynamics.
Speaking at a Black Sea forum, Putin remarked that potential U.S. Tomahawk cruise missile deliveries signify a dangerous escalation. Despite acknowledging potential strikes on Russia, Putin asserted that Russian defenses would swiftly neutralize the threat, maintaining the military's momentum in Ukraine.
While commending former U.S. President Donald Trump for his efforts to broker peace and suggesting a nuclear arms control extension, Putin issued sharp warnings to Ukraine's Western allies. He labeled potential ship seizures as piracy and mocked Western military claims over Russian drone flights.
