Uttar Pradesh Minister and NISHAD Party Chief Sanjay Nishad has expressed strong confidence in the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) prospects for the forthcoming Bihar elections, dismissing the opposition's efforts as futile. Speaking to ANI, Nishad highlighted that, despite the varied ideologies and systems within parties and alliances, the NDA is poised to secure victory.

Nishad remarked that the opposition's Mahagathbandhan has turned politics into a profession, undermining its own credibility. In the same vein, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma dismissed the coalition's effectiveness, stating that the Mahagathbandhan is already verging on collapse even before its official formation. Sharma emphasized Tejashwi Yadav's diminished charisma while affirming Nitish Kumar's potential for success in these elections.

In a significant development for the Mahagathbandhan, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) unveiled its list of 143 candidates following lengthy discussions on seat-sharing arrangements. However, the alliance faced a setback as the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) opted out of the election race, reshaping the coalition's dynamics. The contest will predominantly feature the NDA, comprising BJP and other allied parties, against the Mahagathbandhan, with polling slated for November 6 and 11, followed by results on November 14.
