However, Trump disclosed that their discussion also covered India's oil importation policies, with Modi reportedly assuring a stop to Russian oil influx.

Prime Minister Modi, in a follow-up post, expressed gratitude for Trump's greetings, reinforcing the significance of shared democratic principles and anti-terrorism efforts between India and the US. Meanwhile, Trump praised Modi, lauding the strengthening US-India ties and emphasizing peace and trade as focal points of their dialogue.
