China's foreign ministry has called for the burgeoning relationship between the U.S. and Japan to actively enhance regional peace and stability. The statement came following high-level talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and Japan's new Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi.

Speaking on behalf of the foreign ministry, spokesperson Guo Jiakun highlighted the need for these diplomatic developments to consider the security concerns of neighboring countries.
