Mata Prasad Pandey, the Leader of Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, has made bold claims against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He suggests the BJP is plotting to oust Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar from power soon.
The senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader criticized the BJP's focus on the Hindutva agenda, accusing the party of attempting to transform India into a society lacking equality. Pandey voiced these concerns during a program commemorating the birth anniversary of SP patriarch and former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav.
He further alleged that the BJP government prioritizes religious rituals over essential issues like unemployment, education, and health. Pandey shared his skepticism about the internal decision-making in Bihar, highlighting the appointment of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary to the Home portfolio as a potential sign of compromise within the BJP-JDU alliance.
