In a fiery retort on Monday, Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, branding him as a 'master in drama' over his recent comments labeling opposition tactics as theatrical.
Chowdhury commented that the ruling party was emulating Mahatma Gandhi's symbolic three monkeys, accusing them of ignoring critical issues by choosing to shut their eyes, ears, and mouths. She expressed her confidence in continuing to raise concerns in Parliament.
Meanwhile, PM Modi emphasized the need for responsibility in Parliament, urging it to serve as a platform for constructive debate rather than a stage for drama, ahead of the upcoming Winter session.
