Prime Minister Narendra Modi received accolades at a meeting of all ruling NDA MPs on Tuesday following the coalition's sweeping victory in the Bihar elections.
The gathering at the Parliament House complex included prominent figures such as Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and BJP president J P Nadda. Modi was ceremoniously garlanded by JD(U) leader Sanjay Jha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha chief Upendra Kushwaha, both Rajya Sabha members.
In what was a spectacular win, the NDA secured 202 of the 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly elections. The triumph ensures Nitish Kumar returns as chief minister for a tenth term. With this victory, Modi urged the NDA MPs to increase their efforts for public welfare, emphasizing the significant responsibility that accompanies electoral success.
