Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a firm stance against the glorification of foreign invaders, labeling it as a "mindset of slavery." Speaking on Tuesday, he emphasized pride in India's own heroes and civilizational legacy. His comments came while inaugurating an auditorium named after General Bipin Rawat at the Army School, commemorating Rawat's fourth death anniversary.

On this occasion, Adityanath also unveiled a statue of General Rawat and paid floral tributes. Highlighting Rawat's embodiment of national pride and courage, he said the new auditorium and statue would serve as an inspiration for future generations. Adityanath recalled Prime Minister Modi's 'Panch Pran' resolutions, calling on Indians to build a secure, developed, and self-reliant nation by taking pride in their heritage.

Addressing the need to discard colonial mentality, Adityanath questioned why Indians continue to glorify foreign aggressors instead of their own heroes. He stressed respecting national security forces, promoting social unity, and criticized political divisions. Adityanath urged a departure from narrow interests and a commitment to national duty as vital to India's progress.
